This Family Tree of Jesus - commonly referred to as the Jesse Tree and is used for catechetical or liturgical purposes at the beginning of the Advent Season. It traces salvation history from the creation of the world (bottom of the tree) to birth of Jesus (top of tree). The tree marks events such as Abraham, Isaac, Noah, Joseph’s coat, Isaiah, Mary and Joseph. Each week of Advent a few “pieces”’ of history are placed on the tree from the bottom up until it is completed at Christmas time.
Designed on a white felt background, the green blocks are sewn onto the felt and the blue felt pieces were attached to another slightly smaller green felt piece that has velcro attached to the back. Allowing the teacher to always have a tree background on which to work.
Banner measures approximately 36-1/4" wide by 59" long, including drop 68-1/2" long.
$175 + S&H (includes wooden dowel and braided cord for hanging)
