SPECIAL REQUEST ALTAR CLOTH
AND STORAGE BAG
At the request of a local Knight
of Columbus member I was asked to design a 9' wide by 12' long
altar cloth (shown folded at right). The altar cloth has a 12"
high embroidered Iona Cross in the center front overhang with
center and corner white embroidered crosses on the top to help
with placement of the altar cloth.
In order to protect and store the
altar cloth I then designed a canvas bag with the embroidered
K of C emblem. There is a 3/4" wooden dowel at the inside
top of the bag (near the handles) on which to hang the altar cloth.
Three sides of the bag are zippered and the handles are reinforced
for carrying and long-term hanging (storage).
